Our WHY

The gift of Intentional Creativity
Learning this practice in Hawaii in 2017 truly restored my voice, one that I had hidden away since childhood. It provided me with profound insights into my unique gifts and challenges, as well as guidance from my own inner wisdom. I often turn to this practice when I seek clarity about my thoughts and feelings regarding various situations. Art serves not as an end product but as a powerful medium of expression. The trio of self-awareness, self-belief, and self-confidence enriches every aspect of my daily life, which I also integrate into my consulting sessions.

What did I learn from becoming an Embodied Relational Therapist?
In 2016, I confronted my fears of being different and embarked on a journey alongside nine other qualified therapists, despite being a beginner myself. Through perseverance and with the support of my peers, I successfully became an Embodied Relational Therapist. This approach, rooted in the body psychotherapy tradition, is a holistic and integrative method that emphasizes two fundamental truths about human nature: we are embodied beings, and our existence is deeply relational.

What did I learn from being ordained?
When I began my training at Interfaith One Spirit Seminary, I was uncertain about my values and beliefs. My motivation was not religious but rooted in self-discovery and a quest for personal truth. Through dedicated immersion in various practices for thirty days at a time, I gained clarity on what truly mattered to me by the end of my first year. By my second year, I had developed and led a series of services, invocations, blessings, and counseling sessions, culminating in my ordination and certification in spiritual guidance. Following my ordination, I spent four years mentoring a diverse group of adults within the Interfaith Seminary and discovered my ability to guide professionals across various fields, including doctors, therapists, parents, and even plumbers. I now apply these mentoring skills in my consulting practice.
