BRIDGING THE GAP AS A WORLD BRIDGER

Let us work together to create an environment where every individual, no matter their communication abilities, is valued and appreciated, for it is understanding and empathy that provide the keys to overcoming challenges.

What gaps do you perceive are waiting to be filled? I’d love to know.

AutismFamilyDynamics is an inspired body of work, where I noticed gaps in resources in 2005, when I got diagnosed with Non-verbal learning disability.

I spoke to many professionals in my community, as I worked as Careers Guidance adviser, so had access to agencies, institutions and a professional network.

No-one knew what NVLD was, nor how to find out.

I completed research and foiund a helpful author who had written books on how to deal with NVLD at home, in education and at work. I later found a charity in New York, which let me write a blog for them, and I have kept contact for 20 years.

I wanted a global resource that was this side of the “pond”, and began qualifcations, and noted my own lived experiences, and had a bank of clients who also informed me.

Today, I am offering a body of work that helpd individuals, families and professionals who find themselves in a cul-del-sac as I did previoously.

Having moved from anxiety to acceptance, I have the passion and inspiration to hold space for others, and maintaining my own trajectory into even more awareness of my true self.

From the very beginning, life presents an ongoing opportunity for learning, with daily challenges that often seem overwhelming. Yet, these challenges can be seen as chances for growth, a perspective that is certainly easier to express than to embrace.

Life takes root in the womb, where our first connections begin and leaves a lasting imprint on who we become. Each phase, from the innocence of childhood to the wisdom of old age, offers moments that should be cherished as we continue to learn and grow.

Let loss, grief, abuse, communication issues, and fears become shadows that get freed by love. A walk I embrace.

“Even though I had a fear of picking up the paintbrush, and I tried to say ‘No’ to a session with Sue, I couldn’t let her down. I am so glad, as she was a gentle yet determined guide, who helped me each step of the way. My fear of failure slipped away during the 90 minutes we were together, and was replaced with achievement and acceptance”. R.W. Shropshire, UK

I’d like to take a moment to share my my delight in discerning how to improve the gap in what I intended to share, and how those words were received by others.

Sue sat with me, and gave a fresh thought provoking perspective, which showed me the missing piece.

I practice being present, and clear with my language, and I am better received. Thank you.

FAMILY MATTERS

Family can be a source of love or grief, depending on the moment.

Everyone has t received conditioning, and it gets passed on unconsciously.

.Yet we are not them, and it clashes with our own values and beliefs.

So take some time to sit with me, as I have been there, and it is one of the reasons that I offer my body of work,

Family can be a source of inspiration or the blend of personalities, can create shadow energies.

.Take the opportunity to express yourself, and release content that you are holding, which isn’t necessarily yours to hold or shift.

PROFESSIONAL MASTERMINDS

Institutions come with their own agendas. They create the environment we go to on a daily basis, whether is is work, education, or volunteering,.

This is why it is vital to know ourselves, so we can make true choices in which destination we end up in.

And we need the courage to change direction, if that space no longer serves us. Without guilt or shame.

Sometimes it is reassuring to remember that we are not alone and that others share the same joys, fears, and experiences.
